Definitions:
Society is divided into oppressed/oppressor groups along lines of race, class, gender, sexuality, etc via hegemonic power. But privileged people are blind to it so we need to defer to the lived experience of the marginalized people to dismantle the unjust systems and re-build society.
Performance gaps prove this. Methods of mandating equity (equality of outcome) are one solution / approach to re-building.
“Systems of power” were created by and for the benefit of straight white men and these systems are the mechanism of oppresssion. These systems are created and perpetuated through cultural dominance and the socializing of young people into acceptance of it.
Any observeable difference between groups (or between individuals of two different groups) is generated by these disguised systems of power.
Every element of western society is warped by these systems, and therefore the entire society must be radically restructured.
In the extreme, anything and everything that contributed to the development of western society or its white cishetero male subjects is a qualified target for dismantling. (including beauty, music, film, math, physics, chemistry, knowledge, economics, education, spots, etc.)
If not outright dismantled and rebuilt, they must at least be radically redesigned to focus primarily on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). (yes, primarily. for example: in an interview for a professor job or research position, questions about how the candidate has contributed to DEI come first and are disqualifiers before getting to relevant in-field subject matter)

Difficulty in defining or getting one to accept the definition
As covered in this twitter thread from wokal distance, keeping “wokeness” ambiguous or difficult to define makes it harder for those who disagree to identify (“tag”) and engage when wokeness is on display. They blend in with an apparently decentralized movement and appear organic.
Once a worldview is named and defined, it can then be pointed out, highlighted, and subjected to criticism. Once you can IDENTIFY a worldview or set of ideas you can focus on it and criticize it. Woke ideas can’t withstand proper rational and logical analysis. The lions of truth: evidence, logic, rationality, etc, will eat the Zebras of Wokeness, Gender Ideology, Critical Race Theory, and Critical Social Justice for lunch if they can focus on and identify them. So, to avoid getting eaten by the lions of reason the woke want to make their ideology impossible to focus on and tag, label, or name. They want their ideas to blend in with all our other ideas, as though wokeness fits right alongside reason, evidence, logic, and rationality.
