urbit-globbing

• create dist, copy to desk (do this on a comet or something, don’t actually put /dist in the desk you’re building and pushing to github)

• create glob in dojo:

:: thread for make-glob in landscape
-landscape!make-glob %vapor /dist
                  :: desk name
                         :: path to dist folder

good output looks like:

• look in pier/.urb/put for the glob (will be like glob-0v5.dkjij.2t1rq.5j1m3.f2djg.usfgg.glob)

• then host that somewhere. and get that path (like: https://freedom-club.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/glob-0v5.dkjij.2t1rq.5j1m3.f2djg.usfgg.glob)

• make sure your desk has mar/ files for any assets that the glob uses (js.hoon, css.hoon, etc)

• update desk.docket-0:

• base+'deskname'
  • (docket binds apps/[whatever stated as deskname above])
• glob-http+['https://freedom-club.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/glob-0v5.dkjij.2t1rq.5j1m3.f2djg.usfgg.glob' 0v5.dkjij.2t1rq.5j1m3.f2djg.usfgg]
  • note, the first item in the cell is the full glob path. the second is just the glob version which is is the filename of the glob without the “glob-” nor the “.glob”
    • don’t have a ‘site’ entry!
