people are more susceptible to hypernormal stimulation (stimulation, dopamine, etc. that is way above and beyond evolutionary standards. that is facebook likes, memes, attention economy fuel stuff) when they are in a hypo-normal state - that is, lacking dopamine, lacking social connection, lacking connection with nature and other meaning and craftsmanship.
(having people isolated and locked down and relying on our social media systems for connection is the perfect storm at the period of time. we cannot be separated and continue. and the big tech companies are laughing all the way to the bank.)
use AI and attention economy to create better education and participatory governance. beause education and the 4th estate are prerequisites to democracy. without those, you cannot have democracy. monarchy would be better in that case.
