Scientific process of abduction, induction, deduction

  • Data is observed. (effect)
  • Then the cause/explanation is Abduced.
  • Then, given that explanation, a new rule is Induced.
  • Having an induced a rule, now we can use Deduction to create predictions (effects) for new data elements.
  • The cycle repeats from these deduced effects.
