each switch could be a type of function.

  • boolean
  • argument from authority (change reputation above/below a threshold to turn on)
  • integer
  • etc.

narratives could be built up of switches like this. you could load someone else’s parameters into a narrative model using this and see the story exactly from their POV.
or you could test changing parameters in your own model. the POV thing solves a problem of hyper-personalized, unexplainable AI algorithms making it difficult to see the (social media) world from someone else’s point of view.
