A Narrative Warmaker can make a baseless prediction and then when the time comes, point to something that looks vaguely like it, lie about how it is exactly it and then point back to the original prediction with an “I told you so”. And that prior prediction was predicated on other lies, etc.
You don’t ever get back down to Ground Truth.
