red science temp:

  • need two oil sources and a LOT of space
  • 18 oil refineries

temp all in order to get x-ray cracking.

  • build 1 oil gather on each source
  • connect them both to a liquid tank
  • build a purple refiner, input 1 oil, replicate 6x in a line with 1 space between
  • output to line with splitter at the end with lines to:
    • 1 tank for light oil (tan)
    • 1 tank for other (grey)
  • build a matrix lab pair, set to red science. with two belts outside. input with:
    • hydrogen from above
    • storage box full of graphene
  • build another matrix lab pair stack for consuming the red science.
    • input red science from above
    • with an input box for blue science (handcraft lots of these)

  • top one has two green outputs into the bottom two. one is oil, one is hydrogen. external belts are outputs from the bottom two.
  • bottom two need to link together with greens

make a stack of 6 of these, once all done. at the end: a splitter for graphite / hydrogen. store the hydrogen in fluid storage. once all done, replace the temp red tower with these graphite/hydrogens.
