Computers live in the information dimension

We live in the physical dimension, AI lives in the information dimension. It’s easier for a human to walk across a room and pick up a ball than it is for a human to play chess. The reverse is true for a computer. That’s because the real nature of Chess plays out in the information dimension (nevermind the physical board and pieces), while the room and the ball exist in the physical dimension.

Going further, it’s likely entirely relevant that most of our evolution has taken place in response to the physical dimension much more than the information (though not entirely, and that’s increasingly reversed in recent history). What we’re good at (walking, picking up balls) is a result of what we’ve evolved to be good at.
