let’s hear what everyone’s values are before trying to design a solution, and then try to meet them all as much as possible when synthesizing a design. rather than start with solutions that force opposite-value people to be enemies.

what is the value separate from the strategy? dialectic process of disucssing values. You want people to wear masks, you don’t want people to have to wear masks - those are strategies; what are the values that underly those positions? Try to develop solutions that do a better job of meeting those values.

What about people who don’t care about the values of others and just want zero-sum, winner-take-all outcomes for themselves? (a-la, “fuck your masks and your values”)
