Re: people’s sentiments about the varieties of governments. Allowing governments to compete and for “customers” to make choices: Governments don’t have access to data (aka “price”) the same that markets do. Markets use price (what a consumer will pay. price is determined by the consumer, not the producer) as the best data-point to determine what approach is desirable for consumers. Governments don’t have a corollary for this.
